The Archive - 2012 Rose
The 2012 Rose of Pinot Noir is a vibrant, expressive wine. The aromatics are dominated by freshly cut flowers like lilac and honeysuckle as well as bright raspberry and cherry tones and cool minerals, no doubt influenced by the sea air at this coastal site. The palate is full and smooth, but with great lift and verve thanks to healthy acids. The crisp finish provides the perfect refreshment on warm summer days.

The Archive - 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon
In 2009, after blending the Artefact, we had a small amount of delicious hillside Cabernet and some stunning Malbec from a gorgeous vineyard in Larkmead District. The result: this delicious Archive Cabernet Sauvignon. After spending 23 months in 75% new French Oak barrels and having rested for 15 months in bottle, this is a complex, rich and forward wine with floral, fruity and mineral aromatics. The palate is dense and full, with unctuous blackberry, aromatic sage, and dark chocolate components, while showing real pedigree with fine tannins galore. This is a wine for immediate enjoyment that will also age beautifully for many years. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 140 cases made.
